Know some shipping terms

All items quoted are Less-Than-Truckload Standard Shipping

  This indicates that the delivery service is for Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments. (Ask about delivery time frame in advance, all times frames given are estimates and we may not be held to estimated times frames)

If the shipper or payee provides an incomplete or incorrect recipient address, we may attempt to find the correct address and complete delivery. We may use the address included in the shipper’s electronic shipment information to determine whether an address correction is necessary. We will assess a shipping fee.

We reserve the right to audit shipments to verify service selection, shipment weight, and dimensions. Package shape and dimensions may change during transit, which can affect the package’s dimensional weight and surcharge eligibility. If the service selected, weight entered, or dimensions entered are incorrect or change during transit, we may make appropriate adjustments to the shipment charges at any time. At which point your item will not be delivered until payment is remitted and balance is at $0.

The sender/payee is responsible for all reasonable costs incurred by A&G Secure Carrier in attempting to obtain payment on any transaction. Such costs include, but are not limited to, attorneys’ fees, collection agency fees, and interest and court costs.

The shipper and any other party who is liable for payment are responsible for all reasonable costs incurred by A&G Secure Carrier in obtaining or attempting to obtain payment for services rendered by us. Such costs include, but are not limited to, attorneys’ fees, collection agency fees, interest, and court costs.

At our sole discretion, A&G Secure Carrier may transfer and assign ownership of, and any rights to collect, any and all charges due and payable to us.

Unauthorized Package Charge: A charge per package will be assessed for items tendered to driver not initial declared on invoice. These packages are unauthorized and may be refused, returned to the shipper, or disposed of by A&G Secure Carrier. However, at our sole discretion, packages may be accepted and delivered.

Ground Level

The standard delivery method is ground level and limited to the front door of Private home or apartment building. There should be no stairs or steps involved either inside or outside the delivery location. Otherwise, additional fees may be applied: If your delivery location has stairs, steps, or other non-standard access, you may be charged additional fees to cover the extra effort required for delivery.

Deliveries are route based

Deliveries are based on the route, and you are expected to be available to receive your items on the specified delivery day. Otherwise, items will be left at front door unattended. We are not responsible for items stolen that have been left unattended.

Estimated Delivery Day

You will receive an estimated time of arrival in advance to help you plan for the delivery of your items. (contact for more information).

Unclaimed Items

We are committed to providing excellent service and ensuring the safe handling of all shipments. However, issues arise, such as missing or inaccurate information, or difficulties in contacting both the shipper and receiver. Items are considered unclaimed if three business days have passed without response from payee. In these cases, unclaimed items will be handled as follows: 

  • Storage Fees: Any items received or collected with incomplete, inaccurate, or unclear information, or where the shipper or receiver cannot be reached, items will be stored in our facility. A monthly storage fee will be charged for each unclaimed item. 
  • Time Frame for Claiming Items: You will have a period of 6 months from the date the item is first stored to contact us and resolve the issue. During this time, you must pay any applicable storage fees and provide the necessary information to claim your item.
  • Abandoned Items: If no invoices have been paid by the 6th billing cycle, the items will be deemed abandoned and auctioned off at a location of our choice to recover the debt owed. You may receive notification of the auction location, where you may have the opportunity to bid on the items. Please note that merely making contact during this period will not clear the unclaimed status of the items. To have the unclaimed status removed, all outstanding storage fees must be paid in full.


A&G Transportation and Logistics LLC reserves the right to deny carriage of a shipment in the event of Customer’s non-compliance with any of these provisions. In such event, Customer shall be responsible for all return costs and expenses incurred.

A&G Transportation and Logistics LLC is not responsible for any loss of revenue nor material by the Customer and that the Customer will not be refunded, nor reimbursed, and is responsible for any return transportation in the case of a refused/seized shipment.

To avoid any complications, please ensure all shipping information is accurate and up to date.

These terms and conditions provide clarity and guidelines for the delivery process, ensuring that both the service provider and the customer understand their responsibilities and any associated costs. It's important to review and understand these terms before engaging in the delivery service to avoid any misunderstandings or unexpected charges.
